The Fairmount Indigo CDC Collaborative (FICC) is a group of three community development corporations (CDCs) in Boston whose environmental justice communities are served by the Fairmount Commuter Rail Line: Codman Square Neighborhood Development Corporation, Dorchester Bay Economic Development Corporation, and Southwest Boston Community Development Corporation. FICC’s collective mission is to strengthen vibrant, sustainable neighborhoods united by this rail line. The Collaborative’s work revolves around bringing climate justice and health equity to the Fairmount corridor through community organizing and legislative advocacy. Their MassEnergize website supports their work by serving as a platform where they can direct residents and partners to learn about relevant upcoming events and ways they can take action. If you’re interested in FICC’s work, sign up for their monthly newsletter.
