HeatSmart Alliance

HeatSmart Alliance

MassEnergize supports the HeatSmart Alliance, a regional group promoting residential and building heating/cooling electrification with heat pumps. The Alliance currently includes members from 16 communities, many of which participated in the MassCEC HeatSmart program, with a growing expertise in heat pumps, weatherization and related technologies.

enerGsave

enerGsave

MassEnergize is collaborating with ener-G-save, a non-profit working with communities in central and western Mass promoting sustainability and energy efficiency. Their Cooler Communities school grant program connects classroom learning to climate solutions across Massachusetts, by making students’ work the centerpiece of a fun and educational in-person or virtual event for the whole community. Visitors are asked to pledge climate-friendly actions, showing students the impact they and their learning can have in real life. Read more here.

All-In Energy

All-In-Energy

MassEnergize collaborates with All-In Energy, a Massachusetts-based nonprofit with a mission to accelerate an inclusive clean energy economy. The organization runs bilingual community outreach campaigns to bring energy efficiency and affordable renewable energy to underserved communities, with a focus on communities with high percentages of renters, Spanish- and Portuguese-speakers, and people of color. These campaigns help families save energy and money and make their homes healthier and more comfortable. Additionally, the organization focuses on increasing job opportunities within the clean energy industry for diverse talent, especially women, people of color, and Spanish- and Portuguese speaking candidates, through its paid internship program and job-to-career pathways for staff.
