PlugIn for Resilience
PlugIn for Resilience is a collaborative effort among six Metrowest communities - Acton, Ashland, Framingham, Natick, Sudbury, and Wayland - working together to advance residential electrification and clean energy adoption.
Launched in 2023, the program provides a platform for communities to share resources, coordinate outreach, and host joint events, making it easier for towns to implement clean energy solutions without shouldering the burden alone.
Program Focus Areas:
- Heat Pumps – Promoting efficient heating and cooling for homes
- Solar & Community Solar – Expanding access to renewable energy and reducing energy costs
- Community Collaboration – Shared branding, joint webinars, and coordinated outreach campaigns to amplify impact
Support & Partners:
This phase of PlugIn for Resilience is supported by a grant from the Accelerating Climate Resilience Grant Program, administered by the Metropolitan Area Planning Council (MAPC). Previous iterations of this program were made possible through a generous earmark from the office of Senator Jamie Eldridge. The program continues to be directed by MassEnergize.
