Laila Hurd Community Engagement Intern Laila is a current senior at Wellesley College studying Environmental studies and Africana studies. She is interested in expanding access to renewable energy and electric vehicles to low income communities. This fall, Laila is excited to work with MassEnergize to learn more about community engagement and local Boston organizations. Outside of work, she enjoys walking her dogs, hiking, and baking.
Tianyi Evans Gu, Software Development Tianyi is a rising high school Junior at Phillips Academy Andover. At school, he loves coding and developing mobile apps, competing in hackathons, creative writing, and playing tennis. He is passionate about searching for ways that computer science and technology can be used to solve real-world problems, and is excited to work with MassEnergize in empowering climate action towards a sustainable future!
Jo Jagger Administrative Assistant Jo comes to MassEnergize with previous experience in Project Management and Communications. Jo holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in French and Hispanic Studies and is originally from the United Kingdom. She moved to the United States in 2020 with her husband and two children. Gregg Sparkman Advisor to the Board Gregg Sparkman advises MassEnergize on community engagement. Gregg is an Assistant Professor at Boston College in the Psychology and Neuroscience department. Satrajit Ghosh Advisor to the Board Satrajit Ghosh has been developing informatics projects for over twenty years, including large open-source projects in the neuroscience community, and leading efforts in standardization across many disciplines. He has extensive knowledge of front-end, back-end and serverless technologies and has created tools that analyze and model terabytes of data. He is a professor at Harvard and Principal Research Scientist at MIT.
