These are tough times for the grassroots. Even when you rely mostly on volunteers and run a super-thrifty operation, things cost money. Know that you can help, and that every little bit counts and every big bit counts too!
Before 2018, nascent MassEnergize was mostly funded by its founding volunteers. Our first big “investment” came in 2018, when we were awarded a $3,250 grant from the New England Grassroots Environment Fund (*). The grant was used to cover some start-up expenses, among them the cost of our first interactive web platform 1.0.
In 2019 we were ready to scale up our efforts and help communities all over Massachusetts. To make that possible, MassEnergize incorporated as a 501(c)3 and we can now take tax-deductible donations.
We invite you to join in so we can scale up our impact and share our great tools with other communities.
If you would like to make a tax-deductible donation, you can send a check to: MassEnergize, 221 Nashawtuc Rd, Concord MA 01742.
